Mixing, mastering, and vocal editing services displayed on this website are presented for informational and promotional purposes. Service inquiries, booking, project approval, payment, and project management may be handled through third-party platforms such as SoundBetter.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for delivering all required materials before work begins. This may include:
-
Stems or audio files properly exported
-
Session notes or instructions
-
Tempo and key information when relevant
-
Reference tracks when relevant
-
Clear communication regarding expectations
The client is also responsible for ensuring that all files submitted are properly labeled, organized, and free of technical problems caused during export.

5. Payment Terms
For mixing, mastering, and vocal editing services booked through SoundBetter, payment must be submitted through the SoundBetter platform before work begins. Projects will only begin once the required funds have been secured or confirmed through the platform in accordance with SoundBetter’s payment process.
6. Revisions
Unless otherwise stated, up to 2 revisions are included for mixing, mastering, and vocal editing services.
A revision refers to reasonable adjustments to an already delivered version of the agreed service. Revisions do not include:
-
New production work
-
New arrangement changes
-
Additional editing not originally requested
-
Sending new audio files after work has already started
-
Rebuilding the project due to client-side changes
Additional revisions or major changes beyond the included revision limit may be subject to extra charges.
7. Turnaround Time
Turnaround time for mixing, mastering, and vocal editing services begins only after all required files have been received and the project has been officially confirmed through the booking platform. For projects booked through SoundBetter, work will not begin until the platform shows that the required funds have been submitted or secured.
8. Delivery
Final files will be delivered in the format agreed upon for the selected service.
It is the client's responsibility to review the delivered files within a reasonable time and communicate any revision requests clearly.
Doex Music is not responsible for issues reported long after final delivery if the project had already been accepted or completed.
9. Refunds
Refund requests for services booked through SoundBetter are subject to SoundBetter’s platform policies and procedures, in addition to any project-specific agreement between the client and Doex Music.
Refunds for beat licenses, downloadable files, and other digital products purchased directly through Doex Music are governed by the Doex Music Refund Policy.
10. Beat Licenses and Digital Products
All beats, licenses, downloadable files, and digital products sold through Doex Music are subject to the specific license terms provided at the time of purchase.
The purchase of a beat or license does not transfer ownership of copyright unless explicitly stated in writing.
Non-exclusive licenses allow use only within the limits of the purchased license. Exclusive rights are only transferred when explicitly stated and confirmed in writing.
The client is responsible for reviewing the license terms before purchase. Misuse, unauthorized distribution, resale, or use beyond the granted license is prohibited.
Due to the nature of digital products, beat licenses and downloadable files are generally non-refundable once delivered or accessed, except where required by law or explicitly approved by Doex Music.
11. Intellectual Property
Clients retain ownership of their own original recordings, vocals, lyrics, and musical compositions, except where another agreement applies.
By submitting files to Doex Music, the client confirms that they own the material or have full legal permission to use it.
Doex Music is not responsible for any copyright claims, sample clearance issues, trademark claims, publishing disputes, or legal conflicts related to material provided by the client.
Any Doex Music beat, instrumental, digital product, or proprietary content remains the property of Doex Music unless ownership is explicitly transferred in writing.
12. Creative Judgment
The client understands that mixing, mastering, and vocal editing involve subjective creative and technical decisions.
While Doex Music aims to provide professional results based on the client's direction, references, and goals, no guarantee is made regarding commercial success, streaming performance, playlist placement, label interest, or audience response.
